Christmas

Wow I cant believe it was already X-Mas and we have a little man to share it with.
It was great to share Williams first Christmas with our family. My mom managed to come back out after spending 3 weeks helping me out (which was a major help).

William also got to hang out with his big cousins Bear (Matthew) and Sarah at the in laws house for the Hann Christmas Eve tradition.

Baptism

On December 18th William was baptised at St Thomas in Tucson az. We where joined by alot of family, my family came in from California and Chris's family was able to make it down from Phoenix.

New born pictures

It is amazing how well these turned out considering there was an explosive poo and pee during the naked shots and an explosive spit up that shot across the poor photographers home.

The photographer asked that we wait to feed the baby until right before the photos where to be taken so that he would be very sleepy during the shoot.. hahahahhah yeah that didn't happen. It was amazing how once she begun to snap the pictures of him he would lift his head and look right into the lens like he was the star of the show.

attempting to blog!

Where should I start since welcoming William into the world life has gotten a little bit hectic for the best! lets see where to start..

Me and Chris the day before William was born man I was huge!

On November 15th we welcomed our little man into the world. The c-section went great I think I was in and out of the OR in 20 min max there was nothing as amazing as holding him for the first time. I was amazed how by just putting him on my chest and hearing my voice was so soothing for him and how there is an automatic bond it was amazing. Once getting to our room from recovery we where welcomed by my mother in law Brenda, and to our surprise Todd and Heather Kelly came to visit and meet their god son. My grandmother and Aunt also made the journey down from Lake Tahoe to welcome our little man into the world.

Grandma B and William

The first week home was a little hard and tiring only more stressed by the fact that William lost 14 oz so we where going to the doctor every week for the first 3 weeks until his weight started to increase and dealing with lovely reflux.
